Full-Day Tortuga Island Excursion from San José with Lunch

Overview

Depart from San José for a full day dedicated to nature and relaxation on Tortuga Island. The journey to the island provides opportunities to spot local wildlife, including dolphins, turtles, monkeys, and various bird species. Once there, you will have approximately 5 hours of free time to enjoy the beach and relax under the shade of palm trees. Depending on weather conditions, a 30 to 45-minute snorkelling session is organised, with equipment provided. Transport is provided in an air-conditioned vehicle, either a bus or a van depending on the number of participants. The day includes a full lunch, seasonal fruits, as well as unlimited coffee, iced tea, and biscuits.

Itinerary

1. Puntarenas

   We will travel from San José to Puntarenas where we will board our boat to visit Tortuga Island.

2. Puntarenas

   We will do a dolphin watching during the tour and you will also be able to observe the islands that make up the Gulf of Nicoya while we travel to Isla Tortuga.

3. Tortuga Island

   Upon arrival we will arrive to snorkel which is an activity of 45 minutes where we provide the equipment.

   We will give you 5 hours of beach so you can relax in the shade of the palm trees or go sunbathe, take advantage and enjoy the delicious turquoise sea.
