Belize Exploration Day: Maya Temple, Cave Tubing and Ziplining

Overview

This full-day excursion departing from Belize City combines culture and adventure. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will explore the history of the Maya kingdom, the foundation of Central American and Belizean culture, while enjoying dynamic outdoor activities. The programme includes a visit to a Maya temple, a cave tubing session, and a ziplining course. To ensure the comfort of participants, tours are conducted in small groups, with a maximum of 10 people per group. The service includes transport in an air-conditioned vehicle, park entrance fees, as well as lunch, water, fruit, snacks, and drinks. For travellers coming from San Pedro or Caye Caulker, the meeting point is at the Belize City arrival terminal, where a representative will be waiting with a sign with your name.

Activity itinerary

*** MUST READ: This tour is fun filled and memorable day but none of these sites are on an island. If you are on an island you will need to take the first ferry off & head to Belize City for pick up*** This tour will take you on a adventure back into a 1000 years in history itself. You will explore the wonders of the mayan world, their cave systems on a tube , jungle and plants. We will go explore the Mayan Temple Altun ha, you'll get to hike to the top and around it with our guide giving you all you need to know about the site and the maya world. Then we head deeper into the jungle to go explore the cave systems. We will hike for about 20mins with out tubes through the jungle, you'll get a fun lesson on plant identification, insect identification and all their medicinal uses throughout history in Belize. Then we cave tube down and river and through several caves enjoying the scenery. Lastly we Zipline over the jungle canopy. We then return to Belize City in the evening around 4pm. This amazing experience starts at 8am in Belize City . The pick up would be at your hotel in Belize or arrival port if coming from the islands.

Pickup or meet at the departure point.

The tour starts in Belize City at the arrival terminal if you are coming from San Pedro or Caye Caulker , if you're staying in the city we can pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. If you are staying in San Pedro or Caye Caulker it's easy to join us. You can take the first 6am ferry from the island and we will pick you up from the port and drop you off at the port. We will be waiting in Belize City at the arrival terminal with your name on a sign. ***We DO NOT offer hotel pick up if you are coming from San Pedro or Caye Caulker ***

How to use your ticket

Look out for our guide holding a sign with your name on it. Highly recommend bringing a towel and a change of clothes.
