Early Bird Komodo National Park Speedboat Excursion

Overview

Depart early in the morning from Labuan Bajo to explore the major sites of Komodo National Park by speedboat. This group excursion includes hotel pick-up, allowing you to be among the first boats to leave the harbour and avoid the crowds. The itinerary features a hike to the Padar Island viewpoint, followed by a guided tour of Komodo Island with a local forest ranger to spot the Komodo dragons. You will then enjoy relaxation and snorkelling at Pink Beach, before heading to the turquoise waters of the Taka Makassar sandbar. The adventure continues at Manta Point for a chance to swim with manta rays, depending on their presence, before concluding with a snorkelling session in the coral gardens of Siaba Island, where sea turtles may be spotted. A lunch box, water, and snorkelling equipment are provided for the day.

Itinerary

1. Labuan Bajo

   Starting early in the morning from Labuan Bajo, we’ll pick you up directly from your hotel and take you to the harbor, where your adventure begins. From the jetty, you'll board a comfortable speed boat and head off to explore the natural wonders of Komodo National Park — with fewer crowds and more time to enjoy each destination.

2. Padar Island

   Trekking on Padar Island is one of the highlights of any Komodo tour. After a short hike up the island’s rugged trail, you’ll be rewarded with one of the most iconic views in Indonesia — a stunning panorama of three curved bays with beaches in different colors: white, black, and pink. The trek takes about 20–30 minutes and is manageable for most fitness levels, especially with short breaks along the way. Sunrise or early morning is the best time to go, with cooler temperatures and soft golden light perfect for photos. Don’t forget your camera — this is one view you’ll want to remember!

3. Pink Beach
