Overview

Set off for a day of exploration in Shenzhen from central Hong Kong. The journey is made by first-class train, with a trip of approximately one hour to reach this dynamic metropolis. The excursion focuses on discovering Chinese heritage and cultural diversity, with visits to iconic sites such as Splendid China and the China Folk Culture Villages. You will be accompanied throughout the journey, including when passing through the border checkpoints between Hong Kong and China. Three options are available: two group tour options including either an Indian lunch or a Dim Sum lunch (no hotel pick-up, meeting at 9:00 am at the Holiday Hotel Golden Mile and drop-off at Futian HSR Station), as well as a private tour option with high-speed train and a private van.

3. Shenzhen Museum

   Your guide takes you to the Shenzhen Museum of History and Folk Center. Enjoy three hours to explore the museum. Admire the museum’s collection of more than 20,000 cultural relics, including ancient history and art treasures, showcasing 50,000 years of civilization of China.

4. Shenzhen Civic Center

   Once your time at the museum has ended, you have options for lunch. Choose between a dim sum lunch at Shangri-la Hotel, or an Indian lunch at a local authentic Indian restaurant. No matter what option you prefer, you’ll have one hour to eat.

5. China Folk Culture Village

   Your last stop is at China Folk Culture Village, a village-style park illustrating the diverse buildings, food and dances of 56 Chinese ethnic groups. Wander the park for three hours, and make sure to have your camera ready because there are a ton of photo opportunities as you go through the area.

6. Discover Dongmen Old Street in Shenzhen! Stroll historic pedestrian lanes, browse local shops for souvenirs and crafts, sample authentic street food, and immerse yourself in the lively local culture. At about 6：00 PM, leave your guide at the China/Hong Kong border, and cross the way you came. Return transfer to your hotel will be arranged. You will back to hotel at about 19:30.

1.After booking, please send a clear copy of your passport along with your booking reference number to us for high-speed train ticket arrangements. 2.If we do not receive your passport copy by 18:00 prior to departure, MTR transportation will be arranged instead. 3.For group tours, please arrive at Holiday Inn Golden Mile at 09:00.
