Private Snorkelling and Sightseeing Tour of Antigua

Overview

Embark on a private exploration of Antigua, combining land discoveries and marine activities. Accompanied by a guide, you will visit iconic sites such as Nelson's Dockyard and Shirley Heights, while enjoying the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle with cold water provided. The marine portion consists of snorkelling in shallow waters off a beach, without a boat trip. You will have the opportunity to spot sea turtles and explore two shipwrecks. The guide, an expert in underwater hunting, will accompany you to enhance your observations. Videos of your dives will be sent to you by email after the activity. Snorkelling equipment is provided. Please note that lunch is not included and entrance fees for national parks are to be paid separately (approximately $15 USD for two tickets).

Snorkeling will be done at your own discretion, the guide watches on shore. 3. You will have access to snorkel equipment and floatation devices, the guide will point out where the shipwrecks are and where the hot spots are for turtles. WE TOUR Nelson's Dockyard and Shirley's Heights, finally we will be snorkeling for about an hour around a couple shipwrecks and looking for turtles, we normally always encounter them, but it depends on the visibility that day. I would say 85-90% of guests encounter turtles. Snorkeling is done in a protected harbor meaning the water is very calm and relatively shallow and visibility is normally good. Even beginners or first time snorkelers can do this. THIS IS NOT A BOAT TOUR! Admission to the national parks is 15$USD which gives you two tickets one for Nelson's Dockyard and one for Shirley's Heights. So to clarify you only pay one time for both parks! Tour Duration time is approximate, and depends on where you are staying and how far drive time is.

Your guide can pick you up wherever you may be on the island. Cruise ship travelers will meet in the parking lot right next to Rum Runners Bar which is a very short walk after you exit the ship. The guide will be waiting there wearing a bright yellow shirt, they will have a large beard and bald head, pretty hard to miss. All guests will be contacted a day or two before your tour to get room numbers and give additional pickup information. Last minute bookings will receive a phone call or text message as well for pickup information. So make sure your phone number is correct when booking!
