This private full-day excursion takes you to explore the iconic sites of Giza, Saqqara, and Memphis, accompanied by an Egyptologist. The tour includes transfers in a private air-conditioned vehicle and mineral water. The itinerary begins with the Great Pyramid of Khufu and the Sphinx at Giza. You will then visit the Saqqara necropolis, home to the world's first pyramid as well as the Djoser-Serapium complex and its underground labyrinth dedicated to the sacred Apis bull. The Sphinx of Memphis
Your final stop is Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt. Around 3200 BC, King Menes (Narmer) successfully unified Upper and Lower Egypt and established Memphis as the political and administrative center of the newly unified kingdom. Today, Memphis is an open-air museum showcasing some of the most impressive remains of ancient Egyptian civilization. Here, you will see the colossal statue of Ramses II, one of the largest statues ever discovered in Egypt, as well as the magnificent Alabaster Sphinx, one of the largest sphinx statues outside the Giza Plateau. Your Egyptologist guide will introduce you to the most important monuments and explain the historical significance of this ancient city.
