This one-day safari transports you from Zanzibar to the Selous Game Reserve, one of Africa's largest national parks. The package includes return flights, transfers, park entry fees, and lunch. The day begins with a pick-up from your hotel for a transfer to Zanzibar Airport. After the flight to the Selous airstrip, you will be met by a driver-guide to begin exploring Tanzanian wildlife in a shared safari vehicle. The journey features an authentic bush lunch served in the heart of the national park. After observing the animals throughout the afternoon, you will return to the Selous airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar, where a driver will provide the final transfer to your accommodation.

Flying in early in the morning, full-day game drive with a bush lunch as a break, flying back late afternoon. Taste the amazing experience of a day in the bush. Selous GR (Nyerere National Park) is a little more of a hidden wonder in Tanzania, giving it even greater appeal. It’s one of the largest remaining wilderness areas in Africa, relatively undisturbed by human impact with only a small 8% of the northern region of the park dedicated to photographic tourism. The reserve is crossed by the second biggest river in Tanzania, the Rufiji river, creating a very dynamic ecosystem. Selous is home to more than 2000 species of plants and over 350 species of birds and reptiles, boasting a wide range of wildlife from the African bush elephants, hippopotamus and lions to Cape buffaloes, Maasai giraffe, & zebra.
