An introduction to the world of freediving awaits, perfect for those who want to explore this unique sport without a long-term commitment. The Discover Freediving Experience offers two engaging options: the Lap Experience for pool enthusiasts and the Wave Experience for open water adventurers. Under the guidance of a certified Molchanovs instructor, participants will learn essential breathing techniques, safety protocols, and basic diving skills. Whether you're mastering efficient swimming with bifins in a pool or perfecting a duck dive in the ocean, this experience lays the foundation for your freediving journey. Your newfound skills can count toward future certification courses, making it the perfect start to your underwater exploration.

Activity itinerary

During your Discover Freediving session, you will learn the fundamentals of freediving, including breathing and relaxation, equalization, duck diving, efficient finning and open water safety. You will then put these skills into practice during a guided freediving session. The depth and location will be adapted to your experience, comfort level, goals and the conditions of the day. Dive location can vary between Kappel Wreck, Antilla Wreck, Hole in the Wall Reef, Olympic pool, and other sites around Aruba.

Pickup

Pickup or meet at the departure point.

Pickup information (only for groups without their own transportation) If you selected pickup during booking, your instructor, who is also your driver, will meet you about 30 minutes before your dive. Look for a bright colored long sleeved shirt with the Underdog Divers logo. Hotel guests, we will meet you right outside the entrance of your hotel or apartment. Renaissance Ocean Suites guests, please take the free shuttle to the Marina side. We will meet you at the fountain outside the Marina entrance. Cruise terminal guests, we will meet you at arrival gate number 5 and walk you to the vehicle. Airbnb or local stays, please send us the street address, the color of the house, and if possible a Google Maps pin.
