Overview

Join a traditional cooking workshop in a local home in Zanzibar to discover the island's way of life and exotic flavours. Guided by a group of passionate Zanzibari women, you will learn the secrets of local gastronomy through hands-on training directly in their homes. The activity begins with a visit to a nearby fish market to select products. You will then prepare a vegetarian meal, which will be enjoyed during a homemade lunch accompanied by a glass of juice. Traditional Swahili sweets are also provided during the experience. In addition to culinary knowledge, you will leave with an easy-to-follow recipe as well as local snacks and treats as gifts. The welcome is adapted to specific dietary needs.
