Tahiti 4x4 Safari: Crossing the Mana Road

Overview

Embark on a private 4x4 expedition through the heart of Tahiti Nui. This journey takes you along the Mana Road, the only route providing access to the wild landscapes of the island's centre, characterised by lush vegetation, mountains, and numerous waterfalls. The itinerary includes visits to sacred sites and a stop at Lake Vaihiria, the largest natural lake in Tahiti. To complete the experience, a river swim is included. The vehicle is equipped with microphones and speakers to ensure clear explanations from the certified guide. The excursion lasts 8 hours and includes pick-up. Meals are not provided, but stops at snacks or shops are possible to buy food, or you may bring your own. The exact pick-up time will be communicated one day before departure.

Itinerary

1. Tahiti

   Your guide will make you discover Tahiti's centre during the crossing Island tour. You could admire the lush vegetation, the fauna and flora, the rivers and waterfalls. A swim is planned at a cultural water point and filled with Mana, the ancestors' energy. He will talk you about Maohi people, his roots, he will make you feel Tahiti's heart Mana. Several stops are planned where your guide will share with you the knowledge and usefulness of the plants. We will take our time for photo stops of places, waterfalls and viewpoints. A tasting of seasonal fruits with a cold drink will be offered to you on the second part of the crossing. The tour is done in good weather and in rainy weather.

Fisrt pickups are made near 7:20 am to Punaauia town. I will precise you the pickup time ONE day before the tour.
