Private and Customised Tour of Saint Lucia Island

Overview

Embark on a private exploration of Saint Lucia for 5 to 6 hours. This customised tour allows you to set your priorities with your guide to discover the island's most striking features and the local way of life. The itinerary can include iconic sites such as the Caribbean's only drive-in volcano, the Pitons, Marigot Bay, the Governor General's mansion, or the island's largest banana plantation. Depending on your preferences, you can also add visits to waterfalls, botanical gardens, the Têt Paul nature trail, Morne Coubaril, or a cocoa plantation. The experience includes beach time, shopping, and a free rum tasting. For your comfort, an air-conditioned vehicle is used, and a limited number of refreshments (water, soft drinks, and local beers) are provided during the trip.

   Meeting with driver/tour guide

2. Castries Market

   Driving through the Castries market with a brief history given by the guide about the market

3. Derek Walcott Square

   Driving through the area with the Derek Walcott square and Cathedral, and viewing other historical places in the area with history given by the guide.

4. Morne Fortune

   Elevated view of the city area and the extreme northern part of the island, inclusive the cruise port, the airport, etc. Then a view of the governor general house.

5. Inniskilling Monument

   This is where you have a view of the old barracks from the time of war, which was transformed into our community college and also seeing our national plant called "The Calabash Tree".

6. Marigot Bay

   An elevated view of one of the most beautiful bays in the entire caribbean and also where they filmed part of the original movie "Dr Doolittle", and where the British won the French for the island.

7. Roseau Beach

   Stopping by one of the largest banana plantation on the island, with a full explanation of the process the bananas go through and the history about the banana plantation.

8. Anse La Raye

   Driving through the village to see what a typical caribbean village looks like and stopping to get an elevated view of the village.

9. Anse Cochon Beach

   Stopping in the area for free rum sampling of about 20 different types of local rum made on the island and sampling of other local products and spices made on the island also, ie. banana ketchup (which taste like honey mustard), banana bbq sauce, garlic sauce and many others,

10. Canaries

    Driving through the local fishing village, also getting a history about the village from the guide and stopping to get an elevated view of the village.

11. Edmund Forest Reserve

    Driving on the outskirts of the rainforest reserve and stopping to get the first beautiful view of the twin peak pitons.

12. Soufriere Bay

    Stopping to get an elevated view of the town of Soufriere, which was first conquered by the Frensch in the time of war. From that view, there is the view of the pitons and the volcano a distance away., we will also be driving through the town and being given the history of the town by driver/guide.

13. La Soufriere Drive-In Volcano

    Clients will be doing a tour of the volcano area, see the boiling sulphur water and doing the mudbath.

14. Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens

    Clients will be doing a tour of the Botanical gardens, where they will be seeing all the different kind of plants the island has and in there you get to see the Diamond waterfall, where part of the movie "Romance in the stone" will filmed.

15. Toraille Waterfall

    This where clients will be enjoying a fresh bath from the cool waterfall which is flowing from the rainforest area.

16. Soufriere Bay

    Clients will be going to the Still Beach restaurant at the bay area to have a buffet style local lunch, with the view of the beach and the piton right in front. After lunch clients will be heading back to where they were originally picked up.

Pickup

Pickup included.

We do pickups from private homes, villas, vacation rentals, Sapphire Beach Villa, Secrets St Lucia, etc. Pickup times can be changed by you but we always advise all client to start early to avoid all the crowds. FOR CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS: We do advise to start tour early so we can avoid the rush get back to the cruise ship and for cruise ship who are arriving after our pickup time we do monitor the time your cruise ship arrives and our driver/tour guide will give you enough time to get out of the cruise ship to commence your tour.
