Canopy Adventure and Ziplining in Antigua, departing from St John's

Overview

Traverse the Antigua rainforest on a half-day aerial excursion. Accompanied by professional guides, you will move through the canopy via a series of ziplines and suspension bridges. The route crosses a gorge and offers views of the local vegetation, including fruit trees, vines, and mossy rock formations. All necessary equipment, including helmets and harnesses, is provided for the duration of the activity. The experience includes refreshment breaks with fruit drinks and concludes with the presentation of a certificate of completion.

Activity itinerary

Relax on an air-conditioned taxi ride to the Antigua rainforest, about 40 minutes away. Upon arrival, get a briefing from fully trained and experienced guides, and try on your safety harness and helmet. Your canopy course includes a series of 13 zip lines ranging up to 328 feet (100 metres) in length. Follow your guide along the trail to the first aerial zip line; then, take off and soar above the treetops! Continue on toward the other ziplines, which crisscross the gorge for large parts of the course, entering a corridor in the foliage at either end. You’ll get a bird’s-eye view of the flora and fauna while listening to the birdsong of numerous species that are native to the rainforest. If you wish, browse the gift shop for souvenirs or purchase your personal action photo as a memento (own expense). When you meet your guide for return transport, you’ll leave with a certificate of achievement in hand!
