Overview

Set off on a kayaking trip around El Morro Islet in Acapulco. Accompanied by a guide, you will explore the islet's surroundings, its caves and trails, before enjoying a spectacular panorama of the bay from the summit. The activity is accessible to beginners: no previous kayaking experience or swimming skills are required. Trained instructors provide guidance to ensure the safety and confidence of all participants in the water. Paddling equipment and a life jacket are provided. Please note that drinks, food, tips, and photographs taken during the tour are not included. The use of water shoes, sandals, or non-slip huaraches is recommended.

Activity itinerary

We start at the beach receiving instructions from our instructor, he will give you some tips and advice on how to paddle in the kayak. Once we enter the water we go to El Morro, if the waves allow us we can paddle around it. Once we reach the platform we will anchor the kayak and we will launch into the water to go up to explore the Islet, we will visit the cave area and we will be able to enter through the tunnel that crosses the rock. Leaving the cave area we will climb to the upper platform, from where you can see the most spectacular view of the Bay! NOTE: You do not need to know how to swim to take this tour.

Meeting point

The meeting point is inside the El Morro Restaurant in Plaza Marbella, at the bottom of the parking lot of Scotiabank de La Diana.

The return is at the same place.
