The Atlantic waters off the Algarve are home to a multitude of wild dolphins. On this short dolphin-watching excursion from Albufeira, you'll explore the Carvoeiro sea caves by boat before heading out to ocean in search of these friendly and captivating creatures.

Itinerary

1. Albufeira Marina

   Your adventure starts as soon as you and your small group board the custom-designed boat at Albufeira marina, from where you'll jet off at high speed down the stunning coastline. Things slow down a bit as you approach the renowned sea caves near Carvoeiro beach.

2. Carvoeiro

   Here, you'll enter the intriguing formations by boat – marvelling at the vaulting arches of the caves overhead. Then, it's back up to full throttle as you're whisked away from the coast out into the open sea – where there's a really good chance that you'll spot pods of wild bottlenose and common dolphins cavorting in the waves near the boat.
