ASPENDOS: Some 25 miles east of Antalya and 3 miles of the main road lies Aspendos, graced with a theatre that rivals any single adifice on the Turkish coast. Aspendos Built on the second century and seating 15.000, the structure is nearly entire except for part of the upper cornice. İt is architect was Xenon a local lad, whose secretformula for creating such perfect acoustics has not yet been discovered. Side Is located in region of Pamphylia in Anatolia and was both a prosperous Aegean tranding centre Hellenistic and Roman times and a base for Cilicia pirates in the 1 st and 2 nd centruise BCE. The Manavgat Waterfall is 85 km in distance along the Antalya -Alanya highway, which is a fascinating national park of Antalya.

    Side is a city on the southern Mediterranean coast of Turkey. It includes the modern resort town and the ruins of the ancient city of Side, one of the best-known classical sites in the country. It lies near Manavgat and the village of Selimiye, 78 km from Antalya in the province of Antalya. It is located on the eastern part of the Pamphylian coast, which lies about 20 km east of the mouth of the Eurymedon River. Today, as in antiquity, the ancient city is situated on a small north-south peninsula about 1 km long and 400 m across.
