This two-day, one-night expedition takes you to the summit of the Acatenango volcano, reaching 4,000 m (13,000 ft). Accompanied by an expert guide, you will undertake a hike of approximately 4 hours, depending on the group's pace, to reach breathtaking panoramic views. The journey begins with a transfer in an air-conditioned mini-van from Antigua to the town of La Soledad, located about an hour's drive away. The guided ascent to the summit starts from this point. To cope with the cold, sleeping gear, a jacket, gloves, and a hat are provided. The package includes three basic meals (lunch and dinner on the first day, breakfast on the second), with a vegetarian option available upon request.
