You will enjoy a refreshing break at the historic La Unión Tank with traditional hail, before continuing to the majestic Cathedral of San José in front of the Central Park and walking along the iconic Calle del Arco, where the famous Arch of Santa Catalina is located, one of the most photographed settings in the country. To close with a golden clasp, to participate in a practical culinary workshop where you will learn to prepare banana mole with traditional Guatemalan techniques, combining history, flavor and tradition in a participatory experience.

Itinerary

1. The tour begins at your campsite, where travelers will receive their bike, safety gear and a brief explanation before starting to pedal at a relaxed pace through Antigua Guatemala’s colonial streets. The first stop will be at El Calvario, a historic temple located at the end of the traditional Calle de los Pasos. Here you can descend from the bike to learn about its history, appreciate its architecture and listen to the guide’s explanations about its religious and cultural importance.

2. Iglesia Escuela de Cristo

   Then continue to the School of Christ, one of the most emblematic temples of the city. At this point, travelers will explore the outside (and inside if it is open), learn about its historical relevance and its role in local traditions, while enjoying a quiet and authentic atmosphere, away from the busiest areas. Throughout the journey, the experience combines light physical activity, living history and opportunities for unique photographs, allowing you to discover traditional corners actively and closely.

3. Kerk van San Francisco

   The tour continues to the quiet Belén Park, where travelers will pause briefly to enjoy the local atmosphere and learn about the importance of this space in the daily life of the city. The guide will share historical and cultural data as participants rest and take pictures. Then they will pedal along the emblematic Calle de los Pasos, famous for its stations representing the Via Crucis. During the journey, the guide will explain the religious and traditional significance of this route, allowing travelers to understand its historical value within Antigua Guatemala. Finally, you will arrive at the majestic Church of San Francisco, one of the most important temples in the city. 4. Tanque de la Union
