Colca Canyon
We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa and head toward Chivay, where a delicious Andean breakfast awaits. Your journey continues through the picturesque town of Yanque before reaching the famous Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, the perfect spot to admire the Colca Canyon—one of the deepest in the world—and, with some luck, see condors soaring overhead. The adventure continues with stops at scenic viewpoints like Wayrapunko and Antahuillque, followed by a relaxing soak in the Chacapi hot springs. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (own expense). In the afternoon, we’ll travel toward Puno, making stops at the Patapampa viewpoint (with views of the Ampato and Sabancaya volcanoes), the Salinas Reserve, and Lagunillas Lake, home to camelids and native birdlife. The tour ends in downtown Puno, after approximately 17 hours of travel and exploration.
