Activity itinerary

With a local wine expert, enjoy a tasting workshop, between the atmosphere of a wine bar and a course of oenology in the heart of Bordeaux, 2 steps away from the Grand Theatre. An introduction of basic notions such as : terroir, grape varieties, appellation. No knowledge is required to participate in this experience, our experts will adapt whether you are a beginner or an expert and you will learn while having fun on site! - Tasting will start with a first glass of white wine, allowing you to learn the key steps of the tasting with universal method reputed in the wine industry. - Finally, you will taste 2 fine wines, 1 from the left bank, the second from the right bank, one of which is a Bordeaux grand cru. This will allow you to better understand the major red wine regions in Bordeaux, the Médoc & Libournais. - Wines will be paired with fine local charcuterie & cheeses to enhance your cultural immersion, while learning basic knowledge about food & wine pairing. Our expert sommeliers are at your disposal to demystify the secrets of wine and answer all your questions.
