Château Dauzac
Dauzac is the first Château that borders the mythical Route des Châteaux. Fifth Grand Cru Classified as Margaux. It was his steward who invented the "Bordeaux porridge", made from copper sulphate and water. Still in use today, this treatment is one of the few authorized in organic farming. Chateau Leoville Poyferre
Second Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Julien. Until the 19th century, the Léoville estate was one of the largest and oldest wineries in the Médoc. The vineyard stretched from Château Beychevelle to Château Latour. Divided into three parts, the Châteaux Léoville Las Cases, Léoville Barton and Léoville Poyferré survive today. The Castle Guide will share with you the secrets of vine work, the different techniques used for winemaking and the methods of maturing in oak barrels.
