It is here that you will indulge in a five-course tapas meal and cocktails enjoying the warm, welcoming, and friendly service that Broome Adventure Cruises is famous for. Cruise the waters of Roebuck Bay (Yawuru Nagulagun) a heritage listed marine park steeped in history, culture and marine life with so many stories to share. Enjoy the spectacular scenery, birdlife and marine life that are in abundance. Gather your friends and family for a decadent cruise enjoying sparkling wine & gourmet platters onboard whilst absorbing the Broome Tunes. Brahminy Kite is the only cruising vessel in this region with a shallow draft enabling cruising down the shallow waters of Dampier creek where the scenery, bird life and marine life are spectacular. Guests can board directly from the beach.

Itinerary

1. Roebuck Bay

   Cruise the waters of Roebuck Bay (Yawuru Nagulagun) a heritage-listed marine park steeped in history, culture, and marine life with so many stories to share. Explore 120-million-year-old dinosaur trackways, and World War II plane wrecks or just enjoy the spectacular scenery, birdlife, and marine life that are in abundance. Within Roebuck Bay, we visit Dampier Creek Aptly named Dampier Creek after the explorer William Dampier who was on the British to set foot on the shores in 1688. He found himself on Australia's Kimberley coastline as he was the first Englishman to chart this area. Steeped with the multicultural history of the pearling days where 400 pearl luggers would gather within the shelter waters of Dampier Creek to bring in the shells for the pearl button industry. The creek is lined with 23 different varieties of mangroves creating a very necessary ecosystem for many bird species and marine animals and showcasing the region's massive tidal range.

Pickup

Pickup or meet at the departure point.

You will receive a text message 3 -5 days before your tour date, advising you of your pickup time. Please ensure you provide a mobile phone number that you will have access to during your stay. If you have not received this text message from us the day before the tour, please contact our office. If you have requested complimentary hotel transfers, please note your pick-up time will be up to 1 hour before your tour time, depending on what hotel you have selected. Please refer to our text message that will be sent out 3 - 5 days before your tour date, with your exact pickup time. If you are driving to our venue, please arrive at the time stated in the text message to you. For your planning, this will be approximately 35 minutes before the tour time you have selected.

How to use your ticket

PICK UP TIMES Please note your pick up time will be up to 1 hour PRIOR to your tour time, depending on where you are staying. You will receive a text message the afternoon/ evening before your tour with your exact pick up time. Please ensure your mobile number on this confirmation letter is correct, and you will have access to it the day prior to your tour and the day of your tour. If it is incorrect, please advise us ASAP. What to bring for your tour: *Refillable water bottle (We do not sell single use plastic water bottles as part of our environmental management plan) *Reef Shoes (compulsory on this tour). We have them to hire for $10 or purchase for $23 on the day. Please note - thongs and Crocks do not pass - please refer to the website below for acceptable footwear. *Hat *Sunnies *Towel (not compulsory) - you will not be swimming however you may get wet on the boat *Jacket/ jumper (weather dependent) - for your comfort. Recommended between June and August. *Wallet - well stocked bar with ice cold beverages on site, merchandise and coffees. Our bar accepts cash or credit card payments (AMEX, VISA and MC) What to wear for your tour *Shorts are best - you will be wading in knee deep water at times during the tour. *A hat and sunglasses, and covered shoulders are recommended for sun protection.
