Our smaller group size and choice of vehicle make moving around the inner city effortless, and you're always front of queue because on our tours there isn't one.

Itinerary

1. New Regent Street

   One of the cities most colourful and vibrant streets. Adorned with all manner of interesting shops and boutiques, cafes and restaurants. The tram passes through the street on a regular basis and is a major tourist attraction. Note: The rest of the tour time will be spent for transport to get from one place to the other. Also for lunch stop.

2. Christchurch Cathedral

   See the effects two devastating earthquakes had on our city, never more obvious than as seen on one of the last remaining buildings still under repair and the icon of our city, our beloved Cathedral

3. Offering expansive views on a clear day, over the Canterbury Plains to the Southern Alps beyond, down Pegasus Bay to the Kaikoura's and virtually every aspect of Christchurch City itself.

4. Offering panoramic views of the city from a lower perspective, travelling along the streets of one of Christchurch's oldest and most desirable suburbs, Cashmere.

5. An area featuring some of the oldest stone buildings still standing in the city. Home to Ernest Rutherford's Den, the ornate 'Great Hall' and many fascinating nooks and crannies. Once home to the University of Canterbury and Christchurch Boys High School, the Arts centre stands triumphantly today as one of our most magnificent original stone buildings.

6. An exciting new development consisting of a 7-day-trading, indoor market, linked to a vibrant network of boutique retail, restaurants, cafes & bars - Riverside is a unique inner-city shopping experience for the local community and visitors to enjoy

7. Sumner Beach (Cave Rock)

   On a good day, Sumner Beach is hard to beat. We'll show you from the top of the beach area known as the Esplanade, right down to 'The Beach' cafe. The Riviera of Christchurch as it is referred to (tongue in cheek) by many locals who live there sits perfectly nestled in the crevices of the surrounding hills.

8. Hagley Park

   Hagley Park has been at the heart of Christchurch since the 1850s when it was set aside for recreation and enjoyment of Christchurch residents. One of the most beautiful and well kept parks you'll visit, Hagley Park has a network of tracks linking North Hagley, South Hagley and the Botanic Gardens.

Pickup or meet at the departure point.

For cruise ship passengers, please depart the ships contracted shuttles at the first stop in Lyttelton township. We will be waiting, flying our banner. For city hotel guests, please be ready in the hotel lobby at least 5 minutes prior to the advised pick up time.
