We will walk in the footsteps of kings, queens, freedom fighters and townsfolk as we explore this mighty structure. Together we will interpret and unpack the features of this unique building and hear the stories from its' incredible past. We will climb a tower and experience the castle wall walk as we visit the mighty defences, royal suite of apartments, the Great Hall, the Chapel, the Prison Tower, the King's chamber and much more. From the East Barbican we will also gain sweeping views of Conwy's bridges. These are 19th Century engineering marvels of world importance which bring a fascinating chapter of industrial heritage to our tour.
Church of St Mary & All Saints
This is a spot where the buzz of Conwy eases to a more relaxed pace. Parts of the 12th Century abbey that once stood on this spot are now integrated into this charming historic building. We will use the church and its grounds as a window to the past as we explore the character of this unique town.
