Overview

If you are visiting Buenos Aires, and you just have one day off to visit Perito Moreno Glacier, this tour is what you need, as it lets you explore the National Park Los Glaciares in one day. You will take an early direct flight from the domestic airport in Buenos Aires to El Calafate (airfares are optional), where you will be welcomed by one of our tour guides, who will be escorting you during the whole day. Late in the afternoon, you will be taken back to the airport, to get your flight back to Buenos Aires. Itinerary

1. We start the tour with the first flight in the morning (timetables depend on the availability of the airlines).

2. After a 3 hour flight, we will arrive in the city of El Calafate where our guide will be waiting for us at the airport, and then we will head to Parque Nacional Los Glaciares.

3. Los Glaciares National Park

   Head towards Los Glaciares National Park (entrance fee not included), driving along the scenic Route 11, which runs alongside the main course of Lago Argentino on the way to Brazo Rico (1 hour from the airport).

4. Once at the park, you will stop at "Curva de los Suspiros" to take the first look to the Perito Moreno Glacier, certainly an amazing view.

5. The next stop will be at "Muelle bajo las Sombras," where you'll board a boat (shared service) that will take you on an up-close visit to the stunning Perito Moreno ice walls. You'll get close enough to contemplate its immensity and to observe the ice landslides that continually shear off the main glacier. As you get to the front wall, the boat will stop for a few minutes to get a better look at the landscape, giving you a good opportunity to take interesting photos and film the scene.

6. Then the boat will drop you off at a nearby network of Walkways within view of Perito Moreno, allowing you to see this imposing glacier from several balconies located at different heights and angles, each more beautiful than the last one. Enjoy some free time to walk around or, if you wish to, get lunch at any of the restaurants near the runways.

7. Your private driver will pick you up and take you to the departure Airport to board your return flight.

   After a 3 hour fly, you will be back at Buenos Aires, where the services ends.
