Activity itinerary

This unmissable experience begins at the “Bajo de las sombra” Port, within Los Glaciares National Park. There you take a boat to cross the Brazo Rico, to the west coast. Once we have crossed, the guides will receive us to give us some details of the activity. In the shelter that is there, we can leave some of our belongings, as well as use the bathrooms. Groups of up to 20 people are formed to take a 20-minute walk to the glacier and, once with the crampons on, the ascent to the ice begins. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and you can enjoy the ice formations; learn about the flora, fauna and glaciology of the region; and, especially, on the phenomenon of glacier rupture. Then, you return to the refuge through the Magellan forest. In this place you can enjoy your lunch (not included. You must bring your own food / drink) with a view of the Perito Moreno Glacier. We will undertake the return through the Brazo Rico of the Argentino Lake, sailing in front of the glacier. You can also enjoy the view of the Perito Moreno from the catwalks: another way to see and appreciate its immensity.
