Explore the best countryside surrounding Florence and Tuscany on an E-bike, in just 2.5 hours and about 7 miles distance. Experience a peaceful small group (max 10 guests) guided e-bike ride from the central but authentic Oltrarno area of Florence to venture into the Tuscan Hills with a stop to savour extra virgin olive oil with fresh homemade bread at a countryside venue that is also an olive oil producer. NOTE: On Mondays, the venue is closed, so we will have a high-quality artisan Florentine gelato OR a traditional Italian breakfast at an artisan pastry shop instead! (depends on the opening of the shops) We will take a look at their olive orchard and learn about natural olive oil harvest and production. You will have the chance to see the most hidden corners of the Florentine hills and Tuscany: so much greenery, olive groves, and tiny roads passing by San Miniato al Monte hillside Church, the best and least touristy viewpoint over Florence.

Porta Romana
During the first part of the bike ride we will pass through the ancient and massive gate of Porta Romana. This used to be the main entrance to Florence during the Renaissance, and it's still surrounded by the 13th-century city walls that can only be seen in this part of town!
Villa del Poggio Imperiale
After the first hill that we'll climb to get out of town, we'll reach this impressive historical Villa that used to be the holiday residence of the Medici family - on top of the hill and immersed in beautiful countryside
Basilica San Miniato al Monte
Admire the best view of Florence from the top of San Miniato al Monte, the oldest Abbey in the city.
Chiesa di San Matteo in Arcetri
We will pass by an ancient Tuscan Village where Galileo Galilei used to live, and also see his star observatory immersed in the hills
• When showing up for the tour, please dress accordingly to the weather conditions. We suggest that you always bring a wind breaker, jumper or sweat shirt (something to keep you warm!) regardless of the weather - it can always be left behind at our offices. If rain is predicted, bring rain gear! We do not automatically cancel the tour due to rain - you may cancel if you want to, or reschedule space permitting. • In addition to this, you will want to bring your sunglasses, camera and sunscreen and be prepared for an active day out in the Tuscan countryside. Also, make sure that you bring cash to pay for any wine and/or olive oil that you may want to purchase at the vineyards. Shipping from the vineyard is possible as well, for which you may use your credit card.
