Strolling through a shopping street in kimono Shintencho Shopping Street is a symbolic postwar reconstruction shopping district located in the heart of Tenjin, Fukuoka. Since its establishment in 1946, it has been a beloved historic shopping area for locals. While strolling through the shopping street in traditional Japanese attire, you will visit specialty shops (such as a hanging scroll shop, a tea shop, and a knife sharpening workshop). -Option 1 sake tasting experience Sake tasting from local breweries in Fukuoka and Saga -Option2 Japanese tea tasting experience Taste multiple kinds of tea from Hoshinomura, a tea-producing area famous in Fukuoka, and learn about differences in tea leaves and brewing methods. Option3 Ikebana or Bonsai and Matcha Tea Experience (Japanese Cultural Experience) Learn the basics of the Japanese Ikenobo style of Ikebana (three main branches: Shin, Soe, Tai) using seasonal flowers, or enjoy a Bonsai introduction covering its history and varieties (such as pine, maple, and plum).
