Grand Teton Full Day Small Group Tour

Overview

Grand Teton National Park’s striking and memorable landscapes are second to none. From majestic mountains and verdant valleys to glistening lakes and meandering rivers, this sanctuary is a haven for diverse and abundant forests, wildflowers, and wildlife. Groups are capped at 8 hikers. If we don't meet the minimum number of spots booked, registrants will be offered an option to make the tour private for an additional charge or cancel for a full refund. Good Trip Adventures is an authorized permittee of Grand Teton National Park. This tour does not include hiking trails, as park regulations do not permit guided hikes longer than 0.5 miles. Please note that new National Park fees may apply for international visitors. If applicable, this fee is collected in-destination, not when you book.

Itinerary

1. Mormon Row Historic District

   Mormon Row Historic District was home to many mormon homesteaders. We will learn about their history and walk around their houses and barns, including the iconic Moulten Barns! This time include travel time to attraction.

2. Schwabacher Landing

   We will walk along this offshoot of the Snake River to look for moose, muskrat, and birds, and enjoy stunning views of the mountains in reflective beaver ponds.

3. Oxbow Bend

   Oxbow Bend is a bend in the Snake River that was incredibly important to indigenous people. Grizzly bears frequent this area, so we'll spend some time here with out binoculars at the ready!

4. Signal Mountain Summit Road

   We'll drive to the top of Signal Mountain for views of the whole park. In the summer, wildflowers abound at the top!

5. Jenny Lake

   A great stop that showcases the visitor center as well as Jenny Lake, one of the most visited areas of the park.

6. Menor's Ferry Historical Trail

   The Menor brothers selected this location for their ferry and general store. See what they built and learn about their history in the area. We may also visit the Church or the Transfiguration.

7. Moose Wilson Rd

   Look for wildlife along the Moose Wilson road! This also includes travel back to your destination.

How to use your ticket

Please fill out our client info form (goodtripadventures.com/info-form). This will ensure your trip runs smoothly and save time in the van on the morning of. Your guide will message you 1-2 days in advance to confirm details. We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, day pack, layers to adjust to changing temperatures, camera, hat, hiking shoes/boots or tennis shoes with a good tread, gratuity for your guide, packed lunch.
