Historical and natural bike tour in Guatemala City

Overview

I have decided to make the bicycle my means of transportation in my daily life, so I have been able to get to know the city in detail and it is precisely what I invite you to know: a green, modern, cosmopolitan and super important, historical city. Itinerary

1. Guatemala (ville)

   MEETING POINT AND DEPARTURE. We meet at address 17 Avenida 4 - 84 Zona 14 Guatemala City. Double white gate on the right side, about 100 meters after the Meraki 14 building (to be placed on Uber). From here we walk and cycle about 15 minutes to reach the cycleway on Avenida Las Americas.

2. Plaza del Obelisco

   1. OBELISCO SQUARE. The first stop on Avenida Las Américas is at the Plaza del Obelisco, where we will find a monument to the heroes of independence.

   2. MONUMENT TO SIMÓN BOLÍVAR. The second point is the monument to one of the most relevant characters in the history of Latin America, the hero of the independence of several South American countries, Simon Bolivar.

   3. PLAZA COSTA RICA. One of the most beautiful squares on the tour where you will find a beautiful mosaic representing Costa Rican culture.

   8. MEXICO PLAZA. One of the largest squares on the tour where we can learn about one of the most important characters in Mexican history.
