Heidelberg Bike Tour with E-Bike

Overview

Discover the romantic city of Heidelberg and its highlights with the e-bikes. Discover the most beautiful sides of Heidelberg – relaxed and environmentally friendly with our e-bikes! Our tour starts in our shop (optionally also at a desired location). From there, we head to the picturesque Neckarwiese and on to the Old Bridge and overlook the world-famous castle. Here we take a short break to enjoy the view and take unforgettable photos. Afterwards we explore the Kornmarkt and Karlsplatz. After a detour through the picturesque old town, the route leads along the Plöck River to the elegant western city as far as Wilhelmsplatz. The end is a relaxed ride through the modern railway city back to our starting point.

1. Neckarwiese Heidelberg

   Heidelberger Neckarwiese is a popular meeting point directly on the banks of the Neckar River and offers both locals and tourists a relaxed atmosphere with wonderful views of the castle and the old town. It is ideal for walks, picnics or simply relaxing in the countryside. Especially in summer, the extensive meadows invite you to sunbathe and linger. Families appreciate the playgrounds, and athletes use the area for jogging or volleyball. With its picturesque location and lively ambience, the Neckarwiese is a perfect place to enjoy Heidelberg.

2. Old Bridge (Karl Theodor Bridge)

   The Old Bridge in Heidelberg, officially the Karl-Theodor-Brücke, is one of the most famous landmarks of the city. It connects the old town with the opposite bank of the Neckar River and offers breathtaking views of Heidelberg Castle and the surrounding hills. The imposing stone bridge dates back to the 18th century and features impressive arches and bridge figures, including the famous Bridge Monkey Monument, which fascinates visitors with its symbolism and history. 5. The railway city is Heidelberg's youngest and most modern district, which was built on the former freight yard site. It is a prime example of sustainable urban development and is one of the largest passive house settlements in the world. Families and young professionals in particular appreciate the district for its proximity to the main railway station and the wide range of leisure activities. Gadamerplatz forms the centre of the railway city and offers shopping facilities as well as restaurants and cafes.
