Laguna 69 Day Trek from Huaraz

Overview

Departing from Huaraz, this day trip takes you to discover the azure waters of Laguna 69. The day begins with a pick-up from your hotel around 5 am, followed by approximately a 3-hour drive to reach the start of the trail. The route crosses alpine meadows, follows a river, and passes through several mountain passes. The trail then climbs along ridges, offering views of waterfalls and streams, as well as two smaller lakes before the final ascent. After a steep climb up the mountain, you will reach Laguna 69 after about 2.5 to 3 hours of hiking. You will have approximately 1.5 hours on-site to admire the scenery and have lunch, before starting the descent, which takes about 1.5 hours, to return to Huaraz. The activity is conducted in a group with a certified guide and private transport. The vehicle performs several pick-ups in the morning, but you remain free to walk at your own pace.

1. Laguna 69

   Pick up is at 5am, we will stop at Llaganuco Lake for photos at 8am before begining our hike at 8.30am. We should reach Laguna 69 at 12pm and return to the starting point at 3.30pm, arriving back in Huaraz 6pm

We will pick you up from your hostel in Huaraz! But we can only do this if you email / whatsapp: full names of travellers participating, the hostel name and room number immediately after booking has been confirmed.
