Overview

In Ehime, the “Citrus Kingdom,” you can enjoy harvesting mandarins together with local farmers. The Seto Inland Sea’s mild climate is perfect for growing citrus, and the islands surrounded by calm waters help produce mandarins with exceptional flavor. Unlike the ones you see in store displays, mandarins grown on the trees are packed with natural sweetness and a balanced, refreshing acidity, offering a variety of tastes and aromas. You can take them home to use in sweets or cooking, or simply enjoy a mandarin in a warm room during winter—it’s absolutely delightful! Note: Children’s fees do not include a souvenir. This activity is a mandarin picking experience. Available season: Mandarins: October to December (The exact timing may vary slightly depending on the weather, so please confirm when making your reservation.)

What's included

  • Citrus Picking Fee all-you-can-eat mandarins, harvesting scissors rental, and souvenir bag included.

Not included

  • Transportation to Tomoura Horticulture (Oshima)

Activity itinerary

A sightseeing orchard where you can enjoy picking mandarins while gazing at the islands floating on the calm sea. The orchard faces south on the steep slopes of the island just above the sea, allowing the mandarins to fully soak up sunlight and the sea breeze. This produces fruit bursting with the natural flavors of the Seto Inland Sea. You can savor these safe, low-pesticide citrus fruits while enjoying the beautiful sea and mountains of the region.
