Surfing Lessons in Jacó with ISA Certification

Overview

Learn to surf in Jacó during a 2-hour session led by guides certified by the International Surfing Association (ISA). The teaching focuses on safety and progress, with the goal of ensuring every participant stands up on their board. The activity includes board rental for the day of the lesson, as well as a rash guard. For your comfort on the beach, two beach chairs and a parasol are also provided. A pick-up service is available free of charge within a 1 km (0.6 miles) radius of Jacó. For accommodation located beyond this distance, transfer is possible for an additional fee to be confirmed based on location.

Activity itinerary

Our surfing lessons are for everyone. We teach you safety, paddling, standing up, dropping into waves and riding. You can expect to stand up and ride your first wave in the first day. We will provide you with our rash guards, surfboards according to your level and break in the sessions. Once you are done with your surf session you can come enjoy and relax in our beach chair and umbrellas which are included with your session for the day.

Pickup

Pickup or meet at the departure point.

Please note free pick ups are available within a 1 (one) Kilometer radius of Jaco. If traveler is located outside of 1 KM radius we can pick them up with a fee which will be confirmed depending on location. Easiest way is enter in Google Maps Jaco Surf School. We are located in Calle Bohío which is a one way street. Once you enter Calle Bohío you will pass by a river, continue driving and we’ll be at the corner. Look for a sign Jaco Surf School.
