On this combination tour, we will proceed to the natural mangroves in search of the endangered Proboscis Monkeys and other wildlife. Cruise along the traditional Water Village and visit to a local house. Food sampling at the Gadong night market, the perfect place for an introduction of Brunei's local delicacies and cuisine. Photo stop at the two main mosque of Brunei.

Itinerary

1. Kampong Ayer - Venice of East

   The historical Kampong Ayer is regarded as the largest Water Village settlement in the world. The centuries-old Kampong Ayer is dubbed as "Venice of the East" by Venetian Antonio Pigafetta who sail to Brunei with Ferdinand Magellan's flagship "Victoria" in 1521. Pass along Kampong Ayer and heading to the mangrove.

2. Damuan Park (Taman Persiaran Damuan)

   Opened in 1986, the Damuan Recreational Park covers a kilometer stretch riverfront with a jogging path and scenic views. Within the park is the ASEAN Square, displaying the work of a sculptor from each of the original six ASEAN member countries.

3. Makam di Luba

   Located at the calm and peaceful Luba Island, is the mausoleum of Sultan Husain Kamaluddin, Brunei's 16th Sultan. The only Sultan to have ruled twice and abdicate twice. Ruled from 1710 to 1730 and took over the throne again in 1737-1740.

4. Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque

   Photostop at Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, the iconic landmark in the capital city. The elegant mosque was offically opened on 26th Sept 1958 and a symbol of the Islamic faith in the country. Declared by most to be the most beautiful mosque in the region.

5. Istana Nurul Iman

   Photostop at the main enterance of Istana Nurul Iman. The official residence of His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei. The world's largest residential palace and the seat of the Brunei government. HM Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah uses the palace to host foreign leaders and for all the state functions of the government of Brunei.

6. Jame'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque

   Photostop at Jame Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, Brunei's largest mosque. A fine example of modern Islamic architecture, built to celebrate the 25th year of the current sultan's reign.

   Food sampling at popular Gadong night market, the perfect place for an introduction to a range of Brunei's local delicacies and cuisine.
