Kangaroo Island - Full Day Tasting Tour

Overview

Kangaroo Island has plenty to offer everyone. Enjoy a full day out visiting a number of outlets on the island while taking in spectacular scenery along the way. Visit Clifford's Honey where you will learn about the Ligurian Bee, then stop next at the Eucalyptus Distillery to taste the local eucalyptus and enjoy some cider tastings. Head to Emu Bay Lavender Farm for morning tea. Enjoy wine tasting at Bay of Shoal Wines while taking in the breathtaking views. Enjoy lunch at either Kangaroo Island Fresh Seafood or Cactus Cafe, before heading to Kangaroo Island Spirits to experience some award winning gin. If time permits, we will stop at one more winery along the way before heading back to your accommodation.

1. Clifford's Honey Farm

   Enjoy some honey tastings, learning about the Ligurian Bee and wondering around the gift shop.

   Learn about the history of the distillery and the distillation process, try some eucalyptus drops, wonder around the gift shop and try some ciders.

3. Emu Bay Lavender

   Visit the Lavender Farm for a morning tea stop where you will enjoy a Lavender Scone and Tea/Coffee. Wonder around the grounds and gift shop.

4. Bay of Shoals Winery

   Visit this vineyard that overlooks the Bay of Shoals and relax while tasting some wines.

5. Kangaroo Island Spirits

   Enjoy tasting gins, vodkas and liqueurs at this rustic gin distillery.

6. Enjoy a craft beer tasting paddle at Kangaroo Island Brewery.

If picking up from hotels, all pick up times are 09:00am, if arriving on the day by ferry, pick up will be at the arrival time of the ferry. Please advise arrival time of ferry in your booking notes. ​If travelling from Adelaide, a return Coach & Ferry will have to be booked with Sealink (not included) but we can help organise that. The coach departs Adelaide Central Bus Station at 06:45am and connects with the 09:00am ferry to Kangaroo Island. You then need to return on the 07:30pm ferry to catch the connecting coach back to Adelaide. If you can drive yourself to Cape Jervis, please book the 07:00am ferry. If your hotel is not listed, please advise the name of it in your booking.
