Itinerary

1. Church of Blazena Ozana

   The church is located in Old Town of Kotor from the Northern side next to the Sea Gate. The church is the most popular sightseeing of Old Kotor built in XIII century on the site of the Cathedral church. The church was built in honor of St. Mary, but since St. Ozana's relics are kept in the church, hence the double name of the church. The history of St. Mary's started in the first quarter of XIII century, specifically since 1221. The church was built on the holy place, seeing that previously Early Christian basilica of VI century used to be here. Baptistery and some fragments of church furniture were found near an ancient basilica's base. Today these findings can be seen in the sacristy on five feet below the existing bottom level.

2. Maritime Museum

   Long-running museum with nautical history exhibits, including model ships, paintings & furniture.

3. Pima Palace

   The Pima palace, built after the 1667 earthquake, dominates the square with its beauty. The palace portal with the terrace was built in the Renaissance style while the windows and upper balcony which lies on the twelve consoles were built in the baroque style.

4. St. Tryphon Cathedral

   The Cathedral of Saint Tryphon in Kotor is one of two Roman Catholic cathedrals in Montenegro. It is the seat of the Catholic Bishopric of Kotor which covers the entire gulf, currently led by Bishop Monsignor Ilija Janjić.

5. Sea Gate

   Kotor's Main Gate is the largest and probably the most beautiful of the city's three gates. Dating from the 16th Century, this gate was erected during the time of Bernardo Renier. Its style combines Renaissance and Baroque elements.

6. Piazza of the Arms

   "The Arms Square" is the main and the largest town square in Kotor, Montenegro. It hosts several stores, banks, cafés, bakeries, and pastry shops, as well as many important cultural-historical monuments. Its name hails from Venetian times when munitions were made and stored here.
