   Depending on the option selected, you will reach Caseificio Dicecca by private transfer from Matera, or meet directly at the dairy if you are already in Altamura. Here, you will step into the heart of the local cheesemaking tradition: watch different types of cheese being prepared, discover time-honoured artisan techniques and taste typical cheeses paired with a glass of local wine.

3. Centro Storico di Altamura

   The next stop takes place in Altamura’s historic centre, where you will stroll through narrow streets, charming corners and places linked to the town’s history, including a visit to the Monastery of Santa Chiara. Along the way, you will also enjoy authentic tasting moments: freshly baked Apulian focaccia at a historic bakery, followed by the traditional “tette delle monache” pastries paired with Padre Beppe Elixir liqueur.
