Full Day Private Tour to Guatapé and El Peñol

Overview

Our tour begins in the morning at the pick-up point (place defined by the traveler) from there we leave for our coffee farm an hour drive from Medellín where we stay for approximately one hour and where we will learn about the entire process of cultivation and production of this traditional drink step by step. After enjoying a cup of the best and freshest coffee, we continue our journey to the Piedra del Peñol, a 200-meter-high monolith where travelers can enjoy one of the best views of Colombia. Upon returning from the top of the stone we continue the journey to the town of Guatapé where, accompanied by a bilingual guide, travelers will be able to walk and get to know this beautiful place full of color and colonial streets to finish in a restaurant in front of the lake where travelers can enjoy the best of local gastronomy. You will always be accompanied by a bilingual guide for any kind of assistance.

1. Penol

   Our coffee farm is located on the outskirts of the small town of Peñol, one hour from Medellín. A family farm dedicated to the cultivation of the best export-type coffee where travelers can experience and learn first-hand about the entire process of this delicious drink from its cultivation to enjoying it in different preparations. here we will be for an hour.

2. Piedra Del Peñol

   A few minutes away from our first stop (the coffee farm in El Peñol) we find Piedra del Peñol, a 200-meter-high monolith with over 700 steps surrounded by a majestic lake where travelers who wish can climb to enjoy of one of the most beautiful views of Colombia and the world. the visit to the Peñol stone lasts approximately 1 hour

3. The town of Guatapé is the most visited by travelers and locals among other reasons for being the most colorful and keeping its cobbled and colonial streets intact. Here travelers will be able to enjoy a walk guided by a bilingual guide who will accompany them through the most beautiful streets to finish in a restaurant in front of the lake where you can taste the best of the local gastronomy.
