High Mountain with Walking Panoramic Stops

I experienced one of Mendoza’s most emblematic routes with the High Mountain Tour, a scenic tour ideal for all ages. This experience is designed to enjoy the most imposing landscapes of the Andes without the need for trekking. The road follows the RN 7, passing through Potrerillos, Uspallata, Puente del Inca, Miador Aconcagua and Las Cuevas, where you will have enough time to take pictures, observe the environment and enjoy nature. Only if the climatic conditions are suitable will we ascend by vehicle to the Christ the Redeemer at 4,200 masl. The experience is accompanied by drivers and guides, renowned for their warmth, knowledge and attention to detail. You will travel in enabled vehicles, ensuring a safe and pleasant day. Itinerary

1. Embalse de Potrerillos

   First stop to enjoy the panoramic view of Potrerillos Dam, a reservoir surrounded by mountains and nature

2. Uspallata

   Small Precordilleran Valley with Inca and colonial history. Opportunity to enjoy a coffee and go to the bathroom.

3. Puente del Inca

   Natural formation of rock and hot springs with unique colors. An emblematic site of the Mendoza mountain range. Natural protected area declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its rock formation forms a natural bridge over the Las Cuevas River. Its geological, landscape and historical value allows us to appreciate its important cultural identity trait.

4. Parque Provincial - Mirador Del Cerro Aconcagua

   WE DON'T ENTER THE TREKKING!! Viewpoint of Cerro Aconcagua, with a height of 6961m, being the highest mountain in America -

5. Las Cuevas

   Last Argentine town before the International Passage to Chile. Lunch stop at mountain restaurant (not included) - Weather permitting we will climb Christ the Redeemer (4,000 masl - Generally only can climb in summer when national road permits)

Pickup or meet at the departure point.

The day before we sent the information which guide will search for them and the estimated pick up window. Service manager will send them a whatsapp when it is five minutes away. They should be ready at the indicated time.
