Itinerary

1. Cacheuta

   Pass through historic Cacheuta, surrounded by the Mendoza River gorge and the Andean foothills, with views of its old railway bridge and mountain landscape.

   Stop at Potrerillos Dam to enjoy its turquoise waters surrounded by the Andes, with time for photos and a short break before continuing deeper into the mountains.

   Stop in the mountain town of Uspallata for coffee or tea with Argentine croissants and a short break before continuing along the scenic road toward Aconcagua.

4. Parque Provincial Aconcagua

   Spend around two hours exploring Aconcagua Provincial Park at a relaxed pace. Walk the easy, non-technical trail around Laguna Horcones, with time for photos and impressive views of Aconcagua’s south face and surrounding glaciers.
