Full-Day Moorea Excursion with a Local Resident

Overview

Spend a day discovering Moorea in the company of a local resident. This tour takes you to explore the island's iconic landscapes, from mountains to waterfalls. The itinerary includes a relaxing break on a private beach in Temae, where you will enjoy a typical lunch and swim in the crystal-clear waters of the lagoon. The day concludes with a short hike leading to a waterfall. Fruits and drinks (water, beer, punch, and fruit juices) are provided during the excursion. Itinerary

1. Magic Mountain Overlook

   First stop will be the Magic Mountain, one of the best panorama view of the island , follow by a stop at their Smoothie bar and gift shop to try homemade jam with homegrown fruits.

2. 'Ōpūnohu Bay

   Drive trough Opunohu's valley plantation and learn more about our island's flora.

3. Belvedere

   After that, we will go to the Belvedere, the highest point of view of Moorea where you can enjoy the landscape with a fresh coconut !

4. Paopao

   get acces to one of the secret spot of the island, right in the middle of the caldera of Moorea.

5. Temae

   Now that I have whetted your appetite, we will go to Temae so you can share, on a private beach, a typical polynesian meal with some punch, local beers, water and tropical juices. After lunch, you can enjoy a little bit of free time to walk on the beach, collect some shells or have a swim into crystal clear water.

6. Afareaitu Waterfalls

   To end this beautiful day, we will head towards Afareaitu where hike (20mn one way) will take you to one of the waterfall of the valley.
