Overview

Once again, Bavaria is where it all began! Discover the origins of Christmas markets, candy canes, Christmas trees, and even the surprising connection between Bavaria, Santa Claus, and Coca-Cola. Immerse yourself in Bavarian holiday traditions as you cozy your way through Munich’s old town on a tour filled with Christmas spirit… and, of course, plenty of included festive drinks. Explore the city’s most iconic and atmospheric winter markets — from the historic Christkindlmarkt at Marienplatz to the enchanting Medieval Market and the alternatively vibrant Tollwood Festival. We will visit 5-6 stunning and individual Christmas markets in the heart of the city.
