This experience to discover the walled city of Monselice starts from the Cini Castle, a treasure chest containing ancient weapons, chests, valuable tapestries and splendid period furnishings from all over Italy. We will continue the discovery of the walled city of Monselice by climbing along what has been defined as the most beautiful walk in the Veneto, via del Santuario, with its famous Seven Churches which recall the Seven Basilicas of Rome and which are still a popular pilgrimage destination for devotees from from all over Europe. There will be no shortage of panoramic points from which to admire the walled city of Monselice from above, surrounded by the splendid Villa Duodo which stands on the top of Colle della Rocca. To complete the visit we will visit an oil mill, where the young owners will directly show you the art of oil production and involve us in a tasty tasting of extra virgin olive oil (EVO).

Castello di Monselice
The most famous monument of the walled city is also known by the name of Castello Cini. Currently, the monument is owned by the Veneto Region, which has converted its intended use in a prestigious museum. Inside the castle area preserved a real treasure like ancient weapons, beautiful tapestries and marvellous furniture from all Italy.
Villa Duodo, Balbi Valier
Villa Duodo, also known as the Villa Valier, is attributed to the architect Vincenzo Scamozzi and was built for a Venetian patrician, Francesco Duodo, circa 1592. Sited high on the rocca of Monselice, the villa, which shows Palladian influences, has two "L"-shaped blocks forming a rectangular courtyard. Near to the villa, a church dedicated to San Giorgio, which is the last and biggest church completing a "sacred route" of pilgrimage which rises from the town center to the top of the Rocca hill.
