Overview

Enjoy a unique guided tour lasting about 15 minutes, inside a historical scenario, around the 4 hectares of property of Bosco de' Medici Winery, close to the Archeological Site of Pompeii. The tour includes the following stages: 1. The Experimental Vineyard: farm owned rows, grew in Piedirosso, Aglianico, Caprettone and Falanghina. 2. Historical Structures: a portion of the archeological site of Pompeii; an irrigation channel built by Bourbons, the ancient kings of Naples; and the ruins of a family villa fo'rom the 18th century, where we have started to produce wine in the cellar underneath, inside some terracotta amphorae underground 3. You'll be welcomed by our guides for a journey through nature, history and tradition. During the tour you'll visit: Experimental Vineyard – See how local wine is made, from ancient methods to modern techniques. Necropolis of 79 AD – Walk through Pompeii’s ancient burial site. Winemaking Room – Learn how grapes turn into delicious wine. ️ Refining Room – Discover how wine ages in wooden barrels and amphorae. After the tour enjoy a unique 3-course meal: A delicious journey through local flavors! Welcome Snack – Fresh bruschetta with olive oil Tasting Plate – Provolone del Monaco with jam, Neapolitan salami, prosciutto, smoked scamorza, and breadsticks Main Course – Paccheri pasta with Mt. Vesuvius tomatoes and basil Dessert – Babà with Limoncello and pastry cream Wines – Try 3 different wines, including a sparkling one!
