Tour some of the treasures of Lazio on a quality Bosch-equipped Cannondale E-mountain bike with antipuncture tires and comfortable saddle. Discover two hidden hilltop gem-towns of Northern Lazio - Orvieto and Civita di Bagnoregio, and experience a land of beautiful countryside and medieval charm. Following a relaxing train journey to Alviano, we will set off by bike through the beautiful Tiber Valley, on our way to the impressive medieval settlement of Civita di Bagnoregio, and then continue towards the unique medieval town of Orvieto. Oasi WWF Lago di Alviano
Beautiful natural reserve we bike through to get to Civita di Bagnoregio.
Civita di Bagnoregio
A beautiful medieval hilltop town. Known as well as the "the dying town". It is one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy and it sits atop a plateau of rock that is connected to the rest of the world by just a narrow bridge.
Duomo di Orvieto
Explore Orvieto's enchanting streets and go to the impressive 14th-century cathedral (Duomo), with a Gothic façade considered one of the masterpieces of the Late Middle Ages
Please note: we recommend bringing something warm (a light jacket) as it can get quite cold in the evening. In the winter season (November-March) you are also recommended to bring a pair of gloves. Wearing a helmet is mandatory on this bike tour.
