Itinerary

   Your hosts will greet you in front of your cruise ship as soon as it docks and show you to a comfortable, air-conditioned bus. You will share the bus with other passengers from your cruise ship. After a relaxing 3-hour journey through the picturesque flatlands of East Germany, you will arrive in Berlin, where a private vehicle with a driver and a professional tour guide will be waiting for you. Your private tour of the city can be fully customized to your exact specifications. You decide what to visit, where to stop, and how to spend your time. It is hands down the most flexible way to explore the German capital.

2. Château de Charlottenbourg

   Upon arriving in Berlin, your professional guide will join the tour. You will then enjoy a drive-by view of Charlottenburg Palace, Berlin’s largest and most magnificent royal residence.

   You will then head to East Berlin, stopping for a photo opportunity at the Reichstag.

4. Porte de Brandebourg

   Stroll through the famous Brandenburg Gate and nearby Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. Admire the Tiergarten, the Victory Column, a Soviet memorial, as well as the Paris Square.

5. Memorial of the Berlin Wall

   Continue on to the site of Hitler’s bunker, through Potsdamer Platz to one of the few remaining pieces of the Berlin Wall before reaching the Topography of Terror.

6. Checkpoint Charlie

   Next is your chance to pass through Checkpoint Charlie – the most famous crossing point between East and West Berlin during the Cold War - and visit the former US sector.

7. Gendarmenmarkt

   After some free time for lunch (not included in the tour price), your tour will continue through the former Soviet sector of East Berlin to visit the spectacular Gendarmenmarkt and Bebelplatz – famous as the ‘Nazi Book Burning Square’. You will also have a chance to visit Berlin’s historic former Royal Quarter – the beautiful boulevard of Unter den Linden, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Museum Island, the Berlin Cathedral, and Alexanderplatz with its iconic TV Tower.

8. Alexanderplatz

   Time permitting you might also drive past the longest remaining stretch of the Berlin Wall with its world-famous graffiti – the East Side Gallery or stop in the former Jewish Quarter. How to use your ticket

This tour is specifically designed for your cruise ship and its docking times so if your ship is delayed, don’t worry. The starting time of your tour will be postponed to within 30 minutes after it docks. If for any reason you are not with our driver by this time please call us immediately on: +49 176 636 40755 (this number is WhatsApp-enabled as well). When you disembark your cruise ship please make your way outside the terminal entrance. Here our hosts will be waiting for you displaying a greeting sign "VEXPERIO" Additional information: Inclusions: • Group transport to and from Berlin • In Berlin: a private 5 to 6-hour guided tour with a personal professional English-speaking tour guide and private vehicle (depending on docking times of the ship and traffic conditions) Exclusions: • Gratuities are welcomed if you enjoyed the tour. Recommended: 10% per person for the guide, 5% per person for the driver • Entrance fees (none will be required during your tour) • Meals and drinks • Tour guide on the bus on the way to and back from Berlin (you will be only on the bus with our bus driver) Please note: • Please bring some change in EUR for toilet stops, beverages and for lunch.
