Tour from Salta : Salinas Grandes + Solar Train of Humahuaca

Overview

Discover the Stunning and More Beautiful Landscapes of Northern Argentina. First we will visit the beautiful town of Purmamarca where the incredible hill of 7 colors is located. We made ascent through the majestic Lipan Hill to reach the Salinas Grandes, one of the 7 Wonders of the Argentine Republic. After lunch, we will take the Solar Train of the Humahuaca Gorge. The train tour will end at the train station in the town of Volcano around 17:10 h. It is at this station that Passengers will meet the Guide and the Vehicle (a waiting time of 10' / 15' minutes is requested) to start the Return Journey to the City of Salta where the Service will end at approximately 20:00 h. Solar Train places are subject to availability. The train does not run on Mondays or Wednesdays

Itinerary

1. Purmamarca

   Passengers will take the Solar Train of the Quebrada de Humahuaca at 09 : 55 am at the Purmamarca Train Station until reaching the Maimara Train Station

2. Maimara

   Passengers will arrive at Maimara Town Station at about 10:50 am where the Tour Vehicle will be waiting to start the truck to the Lipan Cuestal

3. Cuesta de Lipan

   Both on the Way to and from the town of Purmamarca and Salinas Grandes we will travel the Cuesta del Lipan where we will stop to appreciate the landscape and take beautiful pictures.

4. Salinas Grandes

   Visit to the Salinas Grandes (Salar) and Salt Extraction Pools

5. Purmamarca

   Passengers will have free time in the town of Purmamarca to have lunch and tour the town of Purmamarca

6. Cerro das Sete Cores

   Passengers Will Have Free Time to Walk From Purmamarca Town Center to the Base of Cerro de Siete Colores

Pickup or meet at the departure point.

Search hours are between 06.15 and 07:00 am by Hotels / Accommodations located within a radius of 12 blocks around the Main Square "9 de Julio" of the City of Salta Capital. Passengers staying outside this Search radius must report to Our Offices on Home Street N° 420. There is also the possibility that passengers who so prefer can approach the Meeting Point at Our Offices on Calle Caseros N° 420.
