Campos do Jordão, known as the “Brazilian Switzerland”, is an amazing town located on the top of the hills. Approximately 3 hours away from São Paulo, it’s one of the highest cities in Brazil: approximately 1.628 meters high. With German architecture style and cool climate, Campos do Jordão attracts many tourists in the winter season. Enjoy the Itapeva Peak, situated about 2000 meters high, where you can have a fantastic view of the Paraiba Valley, the Botanic Gardens and the Pedra do Bau the cultural scene is important and vibrating. 4. Vila Capivari

   The tourist heart of Campos do Jordão, Vila Capivari is the right place for those who want to enjoy what the mountains offer in gastronomy, leisure, rest, entertainment in scenarios that refer to the great European destinations. It is impossible not to stroll through the streets of Vila Capivari and marvel at the architecture reminiscent of Europeans, which give highlights to houses, hotels, inns and shops, and which are complemented by trees mostly formed by araucarias and plantains. , a diversity of flowers that stand out among the charm of the mountains.

5. Itapeva Peak

   Pico do Itapeva is ideal for contemplating nature, is at 2,030 meters altitude, and you can see 15 cities, all of the region of the Paraiba Valley, among them the most famous is the city of Aparecida (due to the large number of faithful visiting the basilica). 8. Morro do Elefante

   With a cinema-worthy landscape, Elephant Hill is one of the most visited tourist spots in the city. Its curious name comes from the curves that form the mountain. When viewed from afar, the hill resembles the outline of an elephant. The summit of Elephant Hill reaches an altitude of 1,800 meters above sea level, providing an unforgettable panoramic view of the city. The place has a beautiful garden and a beautiful square. And it's part of the lookout where thousands of people pose for photos all year long. In this unforgettable view you can see the entire Vila Capivari, part of Alto do Capivari among other neighborhoods of the city, and several mountains that are lost in the horizon. Access to the tourist spot can be done in two ways: by asphalt road or by cable car.
