This full-day excursion takes you to the summit of Mount Fansipan, the highest peak in Indochina, located within the Hoang Lien Son National Park. Depending on the chosen option, you can reach the top via a panoramic cable car rising to 3,143 m (10,315 ft) or by trekking through nature. Several options are available to personalise your experience. You can choose standalone tickets including the cable car, Muong Hoa monorail, and the peak train, with or without a buffet lunch. Some packages include an English-speaking guide and pick-up from your hotel in Sapa centre. For walking enthusiasts, one option combines trekking to a local village with a traditional lunch before heading to the summit. Another package offers a one-way trek to Fansipan Peak over approximately 7.75 miles (12.5 km), with an easier return by cable car and a picnic lunch included. Once at the summit, you can explore the temples and spiritual sites while admiring the panoramas of the Hoang Lien Son range and the Muong Hoa Valley.
