Itinerary
This will be one of our photo stops during the first part of our ride. Here you get the best view over the historical Sigiriya and Pidurangla rocks. Enjoy some refreshments provided by the cycling team before you start the next part of your village cycle experience.

We will be riding passing Sigiriya moat and the forest patches where some birds and wildlife could be spotted. Riders will be able to take some beautiful photos from different angles of Sigiriya rock. ( we will NOT enter to the Sigiriya archeological site)
· Non-stop passageSigiriya
We will enter the real local farming area to experience the authentic local day today life of the people. We will be riding passing rice paddies, farming lands such as sweet potato plantations, finger millet fields, and seasonal fruit plants. Stop at a farmhouse to experience the warm hospitality of the villages. Your cycle guide will help you with the translation to communicate with the farmers. Continue the ride along an irrigation canal while stopping at some beautiful lakes and landscapes.

How to use your ticket
Meeting point
this is called "local car park" by the village people. Look at the very tall Buddha statue at the corner of the car park. You will see our team waiting for you with bicycles and the support vehicle at the right corner of the entrance to the temple statue.
The return is at the same place.
